Our Ministries

Cacti

Church on Tarwin has a range of ministry areas to encourage people of all ages, interests and backgrounds to connect with others.

Our connect groups are a great way for us to connect during the week. They are places where we can share our lives, pray together, and have a coffee and a chat. This is where we can engage with one another and grow together.

We have a number of groups that meet weekly or fortnightly, from women’s to men’s, from craft to coffee to Bible study. There is a group for everyone.

For more details on the various groups, please contact Ps Chris Carmody

Tarwin Street Kids

Tarwin Street Kids runs Sunday Mornings during the school terms. The children are encouraged to learn about God and experience the reality of living in relationship with him. This is done through fun activities and relationships.

District 7 Youth Group meets weekly on a Wednesday night for teenagers in years 7 to 12. It focuses on the goodness and greatness of God, and our value on the earth. It's a place where we seek to establish trust, stability, communication, family and friendship in a safe environment.

Men's Group

MAN2MAN men's group has been set up to encourage men both young and old to join together in fellowship on a regular basis and to help them grow both socially and spiritually in the love of God. We meet on the first Saturday of each month with a hearty breakfast and aim to have a different guest speaker come along to share with us.

Women's Group

We have a wonderful group of ladies who attend our coffee mornings and study nights. We love to share stories about our lives, the good or the bad, with each other. We are there to support and comfort one another and to just do life together, like a family would.

If you are needing something extra in your life, or just need good friends around you, then give the church a call and ask to speak to Rachael so she can give you the dates of upcoming events.
